The Fitness Center
Tarpon Cove Yacht & Racquet Club's Fitness Center offers members equipment to achieve fitness goals in weight loss, strength training, flexibility and cardiovascular.
Available to members seven days a week from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, the Fitness Center allows members to continue their fitness regimen conveniently. The Fitness Center also provides locker rooms with showers, bathing amenities and towels for member convenience. In addition, the Club's Shoppe at the Cove can make arrangements for a local certified Personal Trainer to work with members in reaching their fitness goals with as little as 24 hours notice.
Wellness Instructor - Cara Corr
Hello, my name is Cara Corr and I am a CPT, E-RYT, Health & Wellness Coach, Nutrition Coach, Pilates, & Group Fitness Instructor. After several years in the medical field, I became disillusioned with our current healthcare system and decided to change my focus to Wellness. Watching my patients suffer from preventable disease has driven my passion to help people stay well. What I teach are the basic principles of nutrition & supplementation, personal fitness, yoga, and meditation as a means to prevent and manage chronic disease. I believe that simply by taking control of our health and learning techniques to reduce stress, we can improve our sense of well-being and quality of life! Fitness Training Packages
Strength & Flexibility
Package A: $495
Twelve 30 min sessions designed to be split up into 3 sessions per week. Two sessions focus on strength training and one will be spent entirely on assisted stretching and foam rolling to improve flexibility and mobility. You will be responsible for your own warm-up before each session. Includes initial evaluation and consultation.
Package B: $695
Eight 60 minute sessions and four 30 min sessions designed to be split up into 3 sessions per week. Two 60 minute sessions per week will be spent on a mixture of cardiovascular and strength training including a warm-up and cool down. One 30 minute session per week will be spent entirely on assisted stretching and foam rolling to improve flexibility and mobility. Includes initial evaluation and consultation.
Evaluation & Program Set-up: $95
One time evaluation and program development customized to each individual’s specific goals. You will be given a program to do on your own after a full physical assessment and health history has been performed.
